5-23-2013 This Saturday Nights
Races (May 25th) are Cancelled
I know some area tracks are ready to go racing, ours is not. Despite the crews eagerness to continue work on the track, Until today we have not been on it since last Thursday, due to wet conditions. So with where our track condition currently sits, and with the forecast for the weekend, I think its the best alternative to wait another week to open.
Hopefully by letting everyone know early, everyone can make alternative plans whether they be racing or just spending time with family. With any luck we hopefully can get some progress on the track today and tomorrow and hopefully this Dismal Forecast is wrong too, so we can work on it through the weekend!
So here is what I am currently thinking: Of course it all depends on the weather. But, I would really like to have a test and tune some Night Next Week. Tuesday would be the best, but with the forecast that is unlikely, so we will keep you posted on our progress. We would look at anyone of these three nights Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Also the Micro Track will not be running on June 1st. The reason is we are expecting a large count of cars in our other divisions. We have combined the Red Line Racing North Star Touring Series (Including the 1st of our 5 Race Bob Boland Ford A Mod Series) and the Dominick Bruns Memorial for the Stock Cars.
So Saturday June 8th will be our first night with the Micro Sprints.

5-19-2013 Updates:
We were not able to get any track work or track projects done this weekend. Frustrating! Hopefully we can get some good weather this week, because with all the rain we have gotten the Race Track certainly needs a lot of work.
Since we could not work at the track we took the Jackson Speedway Show Car out to the Greenwing Ducks Unlimited day at the Trimont Elementary School. I will post some pictures tomorrow. Lot of Kids over there and it was sure a fun event!

Our 4th Annual Dominick Bruns Memorial is fast approaching, Saturday June 1st! Be sure to check out their Web-site and like their Facebook Page. This year we have combined the Bruns Memorial with our 1st Northstar Touring Series Race. This looks to be a HUGE weekend with having these two great promotions together. We are honored to be a part of the Bruns Memorial Series and hopefully we can have another awesome race!

2013 Sprint Car Purses (Click here for More Info):
Apparently there was some confusion on the Weekly Sprint Car Purses. We had talked about doing a tiered purse based on Car count at last years banquet. I had posted how that would work on the web-site, But most teams wanted to keep it the same, so that is what we are doing.
