Activities Committee

The goal of the Activities Committee is to add to our fans experience though various Promotions.

 

These Promotions generally fall into 2 categories - Race Night Promotions and Non Race Night Promotions. 

 

A lot of times the non race night Promotions are done to get the word out on our race Night Promotions.

 

Examples of Race Night Promotions:

Some are built around a race - Like added Purse Money for the University of Okoboji Night.

 

Some have nothing to do with racing - Like Fan Appreciation \ Dogs with Dad night.

 

Some have to do with our Kids Club, like the Big Bike Giveaway.

Car / Drivers talking to Schools

Other Information:

The 2010 goals of the Activities Committee are as follows:

 

To come up with a Promotion or Theme Night for Every Race. For example, Bike Night would be a theme.

 

To coordinate our Highlighted Driver of the Night Program.  The main goal of this program is to have an avenue for our race teams to promote themselves (as well as the Speedway) to their fans.  Generally we will have from 6-10 Highlighted Drivers of the Night.  (The way the tickets work will be modified for the 2010 Season)
